The glue role in a small office
Office assistants keep the day moving: visitors, stationery, travel bookings, basic accounts follow-up, and “please print this.” Clinics, schools, factories, and startup studios all hire the title and expect a different mix of tools.
Put MS Office, any bilingual reception skill, and whether you have handled cash or dispatch on the resume. A vague “team player” line does not help a hiring manager.
On-site by nature
Most office assistant jobs are in-office. Remote versions are rare and usually a virtual-assistant hybrid — read work mode. Use city pages so you are not applying across a commute you will not do.
Part-time reception and full-time admin both appear. Stack job type filters when hours matter more than the title.
