Typical concentration, not a census
Product, services, and GCC hiring teams typically post most on-site or hybrid tech and corporate roles from Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Pune, Gurugram / Noida, Mumbai, and Chennai. That is a pattern you will see on many boards — including ours — not a JobBucket-exclusive index.
Tier-2 cities appear more often when the employer has a delivery center, a factory, a hospital, or a sales territory. Always open the post: a city tag can mean headquarters, not the desk you will sit at.
Remote and hybrid language
“Remote” in India sometimes means remote within one state, or work-from-home a few days after joining on-site. Hiring teams typically spell this out in the vacancy; if they do not, ask in the recruiter screen before you resign.
Use JobBucket filters for location, then read the description. Save alerts in the Android or iOS apps so a new city or hybrid post does not depend on you refreshing a map we do not claim to have.
If you are relocating
Put target city and earliest join date in your summary or application note. Relocation support is employer-specific; we will not invent a national policy.
Employers posting multi-city roles can keep one vacancy and screening questions in JobBucket ATS — start free, plans from ₹1,499/mo — instead of running parallel inboxes per office.
